Turn towards the city.  You are near the centre of Geelong and can take a diversion to have a look around if you wish.

Bigger isn’t always better!

People worry about the empty shops around the city.  When the City of Greater Geelong resisted Westfield Shopping Centre’s attempt to increase their centre to over 200 shops, and add a flyover over Yarra Street, the city council was thwarted by VACT (The Developer Friendly Tribunal).  How can small businesses survive?  We now have all the same chain stores as in any large shopping mall around Australia.   It may be bigger, but the diversity and quality are gone.
